Delhi Gets ₹53 Crore Boost for Local Projects: CM Rekha Gupta Delivers on Budget Promise

Delhi’s 11 administrative districts are receiving a significant financial boost thanks to CM Rekha Gupta’s approval of ₹53 crore for local projects. This move fulfills a key promise made in the recent budget and aims to address pressing community needs efficiently.

Two Funds to Streamline Local Development

The ₹53 crore has been allocated to two dedicated funds: ₹20 crore for the Integrated District Project Fund and ₹33 crore for the District Project Fund. Each district will receive ₹3 crore, empowering local authorities to respond quickly and effectively to the unique needs of their communities.

Cutting Through Red Tape for Faster Results

A key benefit of this initiative is its focus on bypassing bureaucratic delays. This streamlined approach ensures that funds are deployed swiftly, enabling faster project implementation and tangible benefits for Delhi residents.
