Gujarat Bridge Collapse Prompts Suspensions, Statewide Inspections

Tragedy struck the Mujpur-Gambhira stretch connecting Vadodara and Anand districts in Gujarat with the recent collapse of a bridge. In swift response, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has taken decisive action, suspending four officials and ordering a comprehensive, statewide inspection of all bridges.

High-Level Investigation Launched

Determined to understand the cause of the collapse and prevent future incidents, CM Patel has launched a high-level investigation. A team of technical experts has been assigned to conduct a thorough probe, scrutinizing the bridge’s repair history, past inspection protocols, and quality control measures.
