Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation of St. Stephen’s College and St. Thomas School

Students and staff at two prominent Delhi educational institutions, St. Stephen’s College and St. Thomas School (Dwarka), were evacuated earlier today following separate bomb threats received via email. This concerning incident has prompted a swift response from authorities and heightened security measures in the area.

Two Schools Targeted in Separate Incidents

In addition to St. Stephen’s College, which is affiliated with Delhi University, St. Thomas School in Dwarka received a similar email threat. Initial reports indicate that two other schools in Delhi, one located in Chanakyapuri and another in Dwarka, also received bomb threats on Monday. While the connection between these incidents remains unclear, they have collectively raised concerns about student safety.

Authorities Investigating; Security Tightened

Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the source of the threats and are working to ensure the safety of students and staff. Security has been significantly tightened at both St. Stephen’s and St. Thomas, as well as at the other affected schools. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
