Toll-Free Travel for Electric Vehicles on Major Expressways

To further promote the adoption of EVs, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced that electric cars and buses will be exempt from paying tolls on key expressways. This includes major routes like the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Mahamarg, and the iconic Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, also known as the Atal Setu. This initiative makes owning and operating an electric vehicle even more appealing, contributing to cleaner air and a greener future.
