China and India: A Bridge to a Stronger Global South?

In a significant move towards fostering stronger ties, China’s Communist Party (CPC) has expressed its desire to enhance exchanges and cooperation with India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

CPC and BJP: A Focus on Mutual Growth

During a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, emphasized the importance of a sound and steady relationship between the two nations. He highlighted the potential benefits for developing countries, often referred to as the Global South.

Building a More Stable Future

This strengthened partnership, according to Jianchao, would contribute significantly to the stability and prosperity of the Global South, a group of nations facing similar developmental challenges and aspiring for greater economic influence on the world stage.
