Bihar Election Update: Nearly 91% of Voters Complete Special Summary Revision

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced significant progress in the Special Summary Revision (SIR) process in Bihar. Almost 91% of the state’s nearly 7.9 crore electorate have participated by completing their Enumeration Forms (EFs).

ECI Reports Strong Participation in Bihar SIR

This impressive participation rate accounts for individuals who are deceased, have permanently relocated, or were registered in multiple locations. The ECI’s efforts to ensure accurate voter rolls are proving effective, with only a small percentage of voters left to complete the process.

Deadline Approaching for Remaining Voters

While the current progress is commendable, approximately 9.16% of eligible voters still need to submit their filled EFs. The deadline for submission is July 25th. The ECI urges all remaining eligible voters to complete this crucial step to ensure their participation in the upcoming elections.
