Enhanced Kanwar Yatra Safety: 10,000+ Women Police Protecting Female Pilgrims

Uttar Pradesh is prioritizing the safety of women pilgrims during this year’s Kanwar Yatra. The state has deployed a substantial police presence, totaling over 66,000 personnel, with a dedicated force of more than 10,000 women police officers specifically focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of female devotees.

Dedicated Support for Women Pilgrims

Recognizing the unique needs of female participants, authorities have established help desks staffed by women police officers. These help desks provide a safe and accessible point of contact for women pilgrims seeking assistance, guidance, or information during their journey.

Comprehensive Security Measures

This significant deployment of women police officers reflects Uttar Pradesh’s commitment to creating a secure and supportive environment for women participating in the Kanwar Yatra. The presence of these dedicated officers aims to deter potential incidents and provide immediate assistance if needed, ensuring a peaceful and fulfilling pilgrimage for all.
