India Calls for Global Unity Against Terrorism at ASEAN, Raises Concerns Over Pakistan’s Role

India has taken a strong stand against terrorism on the global stage at the recent ASEAN summit. Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Pabitra Margherita, reinforced India’s unwavering commitment to fighting all forms of terrorism and called for international collaboration to address this critical issue. He specifically highlighted concerns about terrorist safe havens within Pakistan, urging global action to dismantle these networks.

Margherita Engages in Key Bilateral Discussions with ASEAN Leaders

Alongside the ASEAN forum, Mr. Margherita conducted several significant bilateral meetings. He engaged with the Secretary General of ASEAN and the Foreign Ministers of Cambodia, the Philippines, and Timor Leste. These discussions focused on strengthening ties and cooperation on various regional and international matters.
