Iran Affirms Peaceful Stance, Vows to Resist Pressure After Conflict
In the wake of recent heightened tensions with Israel and the United States, Iran has spoken out to clarify its position on the use of force and its commitment to peace.
Iran Rejects War, Emphasizes History of Peace
Speaking on Tuesday, Iranian administration spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani emphasized Iran’s historical aversion to initiating conflict. “Iran has not started any wars in modern history,” Mohajerani stated, underscoring the nation’s dedication to peaceful resolutions.
Standing Firm Against Coercion
While committed to peace, Mohajerani also made it clear that Iran would not tolerate external pressure or intimidation. “We do not seek war,” she affirmed, “but we do not surrender to coercion and bullying.” This statement reflects Iran’s determination to maintain its sovereignty and resist undue influence.
