Manipur Security Forces Apprehend 12 Militants, Seize Weapons
In a significant move against insurgent groups, security forces in Manipur have successfully arrested 12 active militants across several districts. The operation, conducted jointly by various security agencies, targeted members of three prominent outfits: Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP), Socialist Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (SOREPA), and People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK).
Arrests Made Across Three Districts
The arrests took place across three districts: Imphal West, Imphal East, and Kakching. The combined efforts of security personnel resulted in the apprehension of these individuals, dealing a blow to the operational capabilities of the militant groups.
