This negligence is believed to have exacerbated the urban flooding, contributing to the rising death toll and widespread suffering.

Sindh Government Under Fire as Floodwaters Rise

The ongoing monsoon season has brought unprecedented rainfall to many parts of Pakistan, overwhelming infrastructure and leaving communities struggling to cope. The Sindh province has been particularly hard hit, with major cities experiencing severe flooding. Critics argue that the Sindh government’s failure to maintain and clear drainage systems has turned the heavy rains into a full-blown catastrophe.

Mounting Concerns over Flood Relief Efforts

As the floodwaters continue to rise, concerns are growing about the adequacy of relief efforts.
